How to setup HuMap - EU Offline Maps apk for android
- For Android 4.0 or higher:Please to Settings, look down to Security, and select Unknown sources. Choosing this choice will enable to install apps download from the internet.
- For devices running on lower Android 4.0:
Please go to Settings - open the Applications option, and select Unknown sources, click OK on the popup alert.
HuMap - EU Offline Maps Details
HuMap is a free offline mapping application that won the Invitel InnoApps Award in 2013. Maps of Hungary (41MB), Budapest (4MB) and other European cities are available. The maps have to be downloaded separately, either from within the app, or manually from the http://humap.uw.hu/ website.IMPORTANT: OpenStreetMap (the map source of HuMap) is community-driven like Wikipedia, so BE AWARE that unfrequented areas (e.g. smaller towns and villages) may be less detailed!
